Getting started with your health log
A simple framework for keeping your entries organized.
Start with the information you already have
A useful log records what you chose to track, when it happened, and where the information came from. You can begin with a few categories instead of recording everything at once.
Make entries consistent
Use the same units and naming conventions over time. Add context when helpful, such as a note about why an entry looks unusual. Consistency makes your history easier to review.
Separate planned from completed
A planned activity, scheduled medication, or reminder is not the same as a completed entry. Marking the difference keeps your history meaningful.
Review instead of guessing
Check the original entry when something looks wrong, and correct typos rather than interpreting an unexplained change as a trend.
